We're in the people business. We just happen to be roofers.
A wise friend said that to Brian Bailey when the company was young, and it became the operating principle for everything since — fifteen years, more than 1,200 Front Range roofs, and a 5-star rating we've never lost.
How Bailey Roofing started.
Brian Bailey founded Bailey Roofing & Exteriors in Denver in February 2010. Not with a fleet of trucks or a marketing budget — with a simple conviction that if you take genuine care of people, the roofing part takes care of itself.
Fifteen years later, that's still the whole business model. We've inspected, repaired, or replaced more than 1,200 roofs across the Denver metro, the Front Range, and up I-25 to Cheyenne, Wyoming. We've walked hundreds of homeowners through hail claims after Colorado's worst storm seasons. And we've held a perfect 5-star rating on Google, Facebook, GuildQuality, and the Owens Corning and GAF review platforms the entire way.
We're still family-owned. Brian and Daniel Burgess still run every job personally. When you call (303) 993-3739, a person answers — usually one whose name is on the truck.
The honest version
We're not the biggest roofing company in Denver, and we don't try to be. Big outfits win on volume; we win on the fact that the owner has personally stood on your roof. If you want the cheapest bid in town, that's sometimes not us — we quote what quality work actually costs, and we put it in writing.
What do our certifications actually mean?
Bailey Roofing & Exteriors is an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor — a status held by roughly the top 1% of roofing contractors nationally. It requires verified insurance, sustained customer-satisfaction scores, and factory-trained installation, and it lets us offer Owens Corning's strongest warranty tiers.
We're also a CertainTeed Select Roofer, a GAF Certified Weather Stopper contractor, BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, and a Certified GoNano Contractor for nanotechnology roof coatings. Manufacturer certifications matter for one practical reason: the warranty on your roof is only as good as the contractor's standing with the company that made the shingles.
And two recognitions we're especially proud of, because you can't buy either: neighbors on Nextdoor voted Bailey Roofing a Neighborhood Faves winner in 2021, 2023, and 2024, and the Better Business Bureau named us a Torch Awards finalist for ethics in business. That's the people-business principle, measured.
Who runs your job?
Two people you'll actually meet:
Brian Bailey
Founder & Owner
Roofing professional since 2010. Brian founded the company on the people-first principle and still climbs roofs, meets adjusters, and signs off on every quote.
Daniel Burgess
Operations
Daniel runs day-to-day operations and is often the first person on your roof — homeowners mention him by name in our reviews more than anyone.
Why does a roofer sponsor little league?
Because the people business doesn't stop at the property line. For fifteen years Bailey Roofing has supported Children's Hospital Colorado, a campus ministry at Colorado State University, and Eagle Crest Baseball. It's not a marketing line item — it's the same principle the company was founded on, pointed at the community we live in.
